ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS PRICE!! This means the underglow kit, the grill kit, the wheel well kit, and the interior kit, not to mention the wiring, connectors, controllers, remote, custom box, fuse box, power injectors, and anything else needed to complete the installation. All installations are completely custom and begin with a no obligation custom consultation to determine the exact needs of the customer. While some people want to see the actual LED bulbs, particularly when dealing with vehicles such as food trucks and motorhomes, other people want to ensure that the bulbs are hidden as completely as possible. In many instances, such as a food trailer, the customer is unable to utilize the traditional triggers, ie., turn signals, reverse lights, and brake lights, while in other cases, this is the proverbial icing on the cake. In all instances, the install begins with removing various components so as to gain suitable access. The wheels are removed, as are the fender liners, allowing the wiring to be run from the rear of the vehicle to the sides and front. If the control modules are installed in the truck, some sort of access needs to be created to permit the wiring to flow from the interior of the vehicle to the exterior. In many cases, this is accomplished by removing any drain plugs located in the trunk, while, in others, a hole will need to be drilled and then sealed once the wiring has been run. Last, but certainly not least, the vehicle’s bumpers often need to be removed, so as to permit access to wire in the LED strips or to wire in the triggers. When we do this, we often inject additional power periodically along the strips to ensure that there is no loss of voltage, and therefore, no loss of color, especially in the white spectrum, guaranteeing the brightest possible color. A complete installation includes the installation of the full underglow package, ie., side, front, and rears strips, wheel well strips, a grill kit, and an interior kit. A complete installation also includes the wiring of what we refer to as “triggers,” ie., those electrical events which automatically trigger a change in pattern. For example, we can wire the kits so that, when you put your foot on the brake, the back strips automatically turn red, alerting those behind you as to the fact that you’re slowing down. Likewise, we can wire the kit so that the front and sides of the kit send a flash of light, usually yellow, down the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle, alerting others of your intent to turn. Wiring your entire kit (or a portion thereof), to turn white when you put your car in reverse, open your door, turn on your interior light, etc., are also options, as is triggering a flashing pattern if your alarm is triggered. Last, but certainly not least, a complete installation provides the customer with the ability to control each and every strip individually, offering an almost unlimited number of options when it comes to custom lighting effects. All of our complete installations come with 3 different ways to control their kit. The first is through Bluetooth, using an app on your smartphone. The second is a remote control, similar to what you’d expect to use with your TV. The last is a vehicle-type remote, which allows you to completely shut off all power, particularly useful when you want to reset the pattern to sync everything together or when you plan on being away for an extended period of time.
